The Disabilities Trust employs around
1,200 staff at services across the UK.
The skills and commitment of our staff
have a major impact on the experiences of services users and
we are committed to recruiting and retaining a dedicated and
skilled staff team. Please contact

Training has a high priority. In 2007, for
example, over 50 per cent of our 1,200 staff have received
training to help them deliver ever higher quality services.
Work also continues to make sure all the Trust’s
policies and procedures are in line with best practice in
the field. Up-to-date policies and procedures give our managers
the support they need to focus on offering the best possible
service.
Fifty policies have now been reviewed and updated,
including those on adult protection, monitoring staff sickness,
and all those relating to the new Care Standards Act.
