Linda Clark – Shinewater Court
Linda chose to be photographed on her carriage; she goes carriage
driving every Monday, takes part in competitions and has won medals.
Linda has cerebral palsy and came to Shinewater Court 20 years
ago because she wanted to live away from home and gain independence. Living
at Shinewater has enabled Linda to develop new skills; she has gained confidence
and enjoys a much more independent lifestyle.
Linda set herself a goal of moving into one of the independent
flats at Shinewater Court, which she was able to achieve earlier this year.
She says that it is a very good place to live.
Linda wants to continue to live in her flat, to enjoy life and
work on her allotment in Eastbourne, from which she supplies the kitchen at
Shinewater Court.
